We wanted to pass on this helpful information about checking grades/assessments/assignment completion on PowerSchool.

Checking Student Progress on
PowerSchool
When
you are in your child’s enrolled classes it will look something like this:

This screen shows all of the
courses your child is enrolled in. The
first column is “Semester 1”. to view assignments from now until the first
report card, click the small (i) in this column. This will give more information about the
course you want to see. The yellow arrow is pointing at the (i) to click for
all Math assignments.
When you click the (i) you
will see this screen:
This shows that the student
has 4 collected assignments.
Green Arrow – this icon shows
if the assignment has been submitted, if it’s late, etc. The checkmark in a
green circle means the assignment was handed in/completed.
Red Arrow - the small blue
speech bubble means there is a comment on the student’s work
Blue Arrow – click the word
“view” to see the comments and the assignment description
Yellow Arrow – to see the
marks click this blue graph (some assignments do not have outcome marks, they
may just have “collected”/”missing”/”late” markers, or only comments.
When you click the blue
graph, if there are marks on specific outcomes this is what you’ll see:
This shows that this
assignment was graded on 3 of the stems; the scores are on the right side of
the table.
