Math Space and Shape Unit Test

Students will write a Math Shape & Space Unit Test on Tuesday, October 24th. 

Students will be assessed on the following outcomes:

  • Draw and interpret top, front and side views of 3-D objects composed of right rectangular prisms
  • Draw and construct nets for 3-D objects
  • Determine the surface area of: 
    • right rectangular prisms 
    • right triangular prisms 
    • right cylinders to solve problems
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the congruence of tetrahedrons and square-based pyramids
  • Develop and apply formulas for determining the volume of right rectangular prisms, right triangular prisms and right cylinders

Notes and examples of each of these types of problems can be found on D2L. Students will be given opportunities to review during Thursday and Monday's classes, but are encouraged to review at home as well.
