Math & Science Update

Over the past week, we have been reviewing and practicing previously learned operations with fractions, including the addition and subtraction of mixed and improper fractions. Students are encouraged to practice this at home. Video links for detailed explanations can be found in our notes on D2L. Continued practice with multiplication tables will help students complete these operations more readily as well. We will begin fractal multiplication and division and modeling these operations next week.

Students have just begun exploring the science of light and optical systems. Today we looked a few optical illusions, and will look to explore how these illusions are "tricking" our eyes and brain.
