Watershed Proposal & MIA fraction multiplication

Just a quick reminder that our Watershed Proposals are due and need to be printed off and handed in this Thursday for editing and review. Students have been working on their watershed project since early November in small groups. Our proposals will be submitted early next week to be evaluated by community judges for an opportunity to compete in the Southern Alberta Watershed contest. There will also be a MIA on Fraction Multiplication this Friday. Please check D2L for all of the notes and examples. Types of questions will include, whole numbers x by fraction, fraction x fraction, mix number x mixed number, solving both as equations and word-problems.
